*Sorry I missed last week's post, I had a very hectic day last Friday and never got a chance to post it!*

This Week's Question:

Share a random quote from the book you are currently reading.- Suggested by
Journey Through Fiction

Answer:

This question is pretty much like Thursday Quotables, which I posted yesterday! I'll use the same book I did then, only with a different quote. The book is Jesse's Girl by Miranda Kenneally, who writes a series of books with different characters all attending the same high school, Hundred Oaks. Maya is our main character in this book who dreams of being a rock star and gets a chance to see that dream come true when she gets to follow a really famous singer, Jesse Scott, around for a day.

"The lighting is dim, and he doesn't seem to notice I'm here, which is good, because I've moved from ogling the guitar to ogling him. Who wouldn't? He was one of People Magazine's "50 most beautiful people" and it is a truth universally acknowledged that you should stare and people who've made that list."

You can't blame a girl for staring at a hot guy, especially one who's also world famous.

What quote captured your interest in a book you're reading? Let me know in the comments.

  3. Yeah, I've totally done this. I almost had a heart attack when I bumped into Tom Hardy in London once. You'd like to think you'd play it cool, but I was a wreck! Too worked up to even ask for an autograph even though he was happily signing away for people.

New follower on Bloglovin' and Google. Can't believe I wasn't following you already, I'm rubbish!

  5. “Real friends are the ones you can count on no matter what.
The ones who go into the forest to find you and bring you home.
And real friends never have to tell you that they’re your friends.”
