The Book Combo Tag!
I was tagged by the wonderful
Carrie from The Book Goddess. Thank you for tagging me! I love doing tags
and comparing my answers to other bloggers. This will be fun :)
1) Which two authors would you
like to put their writing skills together and write a new book?
I'm going to say Julie Kagawa and
Sarah J Maas for this one. They're both awesome for writing fantasy novels with
amazing stories and awesome characters. A book together would be beyond epic
and I'd be the first person to add it to my TBR shelf, haha.
2) What's
your favourite author collaboration?
The only author collaboration I've
read is These Broken Stars by Amie Kaufman and
Meghan Spooner. It's an epic tale of uninhabited planets, finding love in
unlikely places, and a mystery that only our heroes can solve.
3) If you could combine two
completely different stories and make them a book of their own, what would it
be and what would it be called?
Wow this a really hard one. Okay,
let's take aliens and gargoyles! The Lux series and the Dark Elements series by
JLA! Can you imagine Daemon Black and Roth together?? Wow, there'd be so much
hotness I think the room they'd be in would spontaneously combust. Then you
have Katy and Layla as the protagonists, and Dee and Stacey as the lovable best
friends. Now that's a story that would be of EPIC proportions. I don't know
what I'd call it though :P
4) Which two worlds
from two different stories would you like to see come together to make one epic
world?
I think the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J Maas
and Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard would be
amazing! Both worlds already have an evil King they have to overthrow with
kickass heroines that have incredibly special powers and are destined for great
things. Can you just imagine it?
5) Which
duology/trilogy series would you liked to have been one book?
No way! The whole
point of a series is so we can see how characters grow and develop over the
course of a number of books. You just don't get that in stand-alones. Don't get
me wrong, I enjoy stand-alones, but it's just not the same.
There's not one series I wish was a stand-alone, only stand-alones I wish were
series!
Sin é! (That's Irish
for that's it, btw ;) This tag was loads of fun to do and I've now
created some stories I wish the authors would actually work on, haha! Now I'd
like to tag these beautiful people in response:
- Cody from Literary-ly
Obsessed
- Piper from Piper's
Book Blog
- Sofia from SofiaLovesReading
- Mandy from The
Reading Diaries
I hope you enjoyed
this tag, and feel free to do it yourself if you haven't already! :)
*PS I don't know why my font is going all wonky, it's got a mind of its own today! Sorry for all those who find it annoying :)*
