Guess what! Jennifer L Armentrout is releasing a new book soon! I love how often she releases books, there's never a shortage of them whenever I get an urge to read from my favourite author. In New York Times bestselling author Jennifer L. Armentrout’s gripping new novel, a young woman comes home to reclaim her life—even as a murderer plots to end it. . .

It’s been ten years since Sasha Keaton left her West Virginia hometown . . . since she escaped the twisted serial killer known as the Groom. Returning to help run her family inn means being whole again, except for one missing piece. The piece that falls into place when Sasha’s threatened—and FBI agent Cole Landis vows to protect her the way he couldn’t a decade ago.

First one woman disappears; then another, and all the while, disturbing calling cards are left for the sole survivor of the Groom’s reign of terror. Cole’s never forgiven himself for not being there when Sasha was taken, but he intends to make up for it now . . . because under the quirky sexiness Cole first fell for is a steely strength that only makes him love Sasha more.

But someone is watching. Waiting. And Sasha’s first mistake could be her last.

Mystery Blogger Award

https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZHXMbZHHov3t-E-v_r8CpvZFCmSnqDUAQeuxuYWfs11ilgb6ieB9Q0P4JmjfR_Yemo01Q7fmRgpE6ezZurn5vmb2vwhX8p68C_7rQg0hWpbLQZg_NHvE0Oc3VMe_D6A4XgJozq2ie9T5q/s1600/mystery_blogger_award.jpg

Hey everyone! I was nominated for this award by Kimberly over at Nelms Tree Books, and I haven't done one of these types of posts in ages, so I'm super excited about it! Kimberly's blog is gorgeous too, so don't forget to check her out. It was originally created by Okoto!

Rules:
  1. Put the award logo/image on your blog.
  2. List the rules.
  3. Thank whoever nominated you and provide a link to their blog!
  4. Mention the creator of the award and link their blog too.
  5. Tell the readers 3 things about yourself.
  6. Nominate 10-20 people.
  7. Notify each of the nominees.
  8. Ask your nominees 5 questions of your choice; with one weird or funny question, which you must specify.
  9. Share your link to your best post(s).
 3 Things About Me:
  1. I come from the tiny island of Ireland, which is a country I love (despite the accent), but I cannot wait to go abroad and travel the world.
  2. I'm in my final year of college, studying Montessori Education. I love what I'm doing, although I have a dissertation this year too which I don't like at all, haha. However, only four months to go! It's going to fly.
  3. I have made some amazing friends through a shared love of reading, friends I never would've met if it hadn't been for this blog and Goodreads. I'll be forever grateful to books, my blog and Goodreads for being able to have met such amazing people.
Questions from Kimberly:

If you could be a main character of a book, what genre would it be?
Young Adult Fantasy, the main genre I read. The heroines in those books are always super strong, and end up saving the world while learning something crucial about themselves while also finding the love of their life in the process (usually). It would make my mundane life seem so much more exciting.

What would your super hero power and name be?

This is a hard one. I saw this on Tumblr, and it's actually so true. You're all expecting me to choose one that's book related, but I'm actually going to use the power to refill things. You know why? Your glass is empty? Refill it without getting up. Bank account empty? Refill it! Person annoying you? Refill their bladder! Absolute genius!
My superhero name? Uhh... Fill-It Girl :P

What is your all time favorite book or series?
I think Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead. It got me into reading, I can re-read it numerous times, and my friend is reading it for the first time and I've been staying up late with her the last few nights to help her get through some pretty bad cliffhangers. (Shadow Kiss, anyone?)

Would you rather have the best plate of food ever or the best dessert? And what would it be?
Dessert. Hands down. My sweet tooth is the boss of me and I wouldn't have it any other way. I think strawberry pavalova or else chocolate cake.

What is the first book you ever remember reading?
I can't remember the first book I ever read, but I remember my first favourite author was Jacqueline Wilson. I read nearly every one of her books, I loved them so much. I even sent her in a letter once telling her how much I admired her books, but I never got a response :P

Weird question: Dogs or Cats?

Dogs! All the way! I own two myself, and they're my babies. And they hate cats, so we could never get a cat. I would like to get a cat and a dog together in the future though, and see them become friends, haha.

My Questions:
  1. What is your favourite place to read?
  2. What's the name of the last book you read?
  3. Tea or coffee?
  4. Paper back or Kindle?
  5. Would you go see a movie adaption of your favourite book?

My nominees:
  1. Erika @ Books and Stars
  2.  Carrie @  The Butterfly Reader
  3. Alise/Bec @ Readers in Wonderland
  4. Jordan @ The Heart of a Book Blogger
  5. Fiona @ A Girl Between the Pages
  6.  Jess @ Fairytales and Books
  7. Jennilyn @ rurounijennireads
  8. Alyssa @ The Eater of Books
  9. Kariny's Box Frenzy
  10. Laura @ BlueEyeBooks
And anyone else who wants to do it :)

Happy New Year & Review: Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them by J.K Rowling

http://newyear2017.iwishyouthesame.com/images/Happy-New-Year.jpg

Happy New Year everyone! I hope 2017 will be the best one yet. I hope it's filled with books, tea, chocolates, good food, good friends, and pets. Was there a scary thing you always put off over and over agin? Don't. Go out there and do it! Talk to people you like, ignore people you don't. Be happy with who you are and accept that you are absolutely amazing just the way you are.

And what better way to kick off this new year with a review from (my opinion) one of the best movies of last year? I am of course talking about Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them!
